On November 9th, 2023, OCAD University is hosting its second annual Black Homecoming! The event will bring together Black faculty, students, staff, alumni, and others who support and celebrate Black OCADU. The accomplishments of Black alumni will be celebrated in the exhibition, “Here Now & Everywhere in the Future” is an exhibition that transcends time and location. Building on the theme and inspiration from Alisha B. Wormsley’s visionary statement, “There are Black People in the Future,” this exhibition celebrates individuals within the Black diaspora. Featured artists from OCAD University’s Black alumni across Canada, the Caribbean, and Africa, share their profound narratives and carve out a future that’s uniquely their own.
Join in the celebrations and learn more about Black OCADU faculty, students, and staff! Enjoy the entertainment, food, and dancing!
